A large team of 12 players made the trip to the RMTC to play for Sydney in the annual Barry Toates Trophy, which this year was attended and presented by the man himself. In the end RMTC won by 16 sets to 4 but there were many close games towards the end of the day as the travellers reacquainted themselves with the real game of tennis.
Many thanks to Richard Pagone for organising a sumptuous feast here at the Club on Saturday night for all the players.

The Sydney team finally hit their straps and won the match against the MCCRTS 8 sets to 6. A successful weekend for all players.
