RMTC Mixed Doubles - Sun. 23 June

A great fun day of mixed doubles tennis was had by all. 20 players played in two groups. There were many close games in the round robin stage with some going down to the final point.

The experienced and steady pairing of Robyn Woods and Robin McAllen played some great tennis to top their group while Kathryn Arndt and Peter Eklund were the dominant pair in the other group. Both were very deserving of their spots in the final, and what a final! The two R's raced ahead to a 5/2 lead only to be pegged back the distance to 5/5 40-all. The final point was won by Kathryn and Peter.
