How can you support us?
The RMTC Foundation has two channels for receiving gifts and bequests:
- a gift directly to the Club for placement in The RMTC Foundation Fund or
- a tax-deductible gift via a fund registered with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) called RMTC Foundation.
Please talk to any of the RMTC Foundation Governors below if you would like to support our Club’s future in any way.
Our first investment is in developing young tennis player
The Foundation will shortly call for expressions of interest in our first RMTC Youth Tennis Scholarship. This will include seeking candidates currently internal and external to the Club.
This Scholarship is designed to attract and develop young tennis players by offering them an elite Real Tennis Scholarship. The Scholarship will offer the
successful applicant(s) a personalised training plan created by our Pros, which can include support for court time, lessons, membership fees, apparel, travel to tournaments, and equipment. Candidates must be aged between 16 and 23.
The Youth Tennis Scholarship Program’s goal is to build a stream of quality young real tennis players, of which our Members can be proud, and who will be the standard-bearers for RMTC’s next generation of top players.
Selection of our successful applicants will be made by a Panel comprising representatives of the RMTC Foundation, the RMTC Tennis Committee and our Club professionals.
The Scholarship application criteria and process for 2023 is available here (click link), and we look forward to appointing our first Scholars during 2023. Applications for the 2023 program close Sat. 30 September 2023.
