World Championship Final Eliminator
The Final Eliminator for the 2016 World Championships begins at 8:30AM tomorrow morning in Philadelphia. Camden Riviere and Steve Virgona will go head to head in a best of 13 sets match for the right the challenge Rob Fahey for the World Title in May. The match will be streamed on the US Court Tennis Association youtube account. Links to the live stream are provided below:

There are 3 spots left in the 10:30AM junior (U16) clinic being run tomorrow (7th Apr). Please contact the pro shop to get your young people involved in the game we all love.
Reminder that a new season of pennant is starting again next week with D Special Pennant on Tuesdays and A Grade Pennant on Thursdays.
Saskia’s Goodbye Party – Friday 29th April
Saskia Bollerman is leaving the club to return home on the 30th April. There will be a party the evening before organised by one Lizzie Brown so save the date in your diary and come down to the club to help us celebrate Saskia’s time at the club. There will be a sign up sheet on the board so come in and put your name down.
RMTC vs MCCRTS (at Romsey) – Sunday 17th April
There are 3 spots left in the team for the first RMTC vs MCCRTS pennant match of the year is fast approaching and it may end up being the last chance you have to play at Romsey before it is closed as a tennis club. Contact the pro shop or come into the club to get involved.
ANZAC Day Trophy – Saturday 23rd April
The ANZAC Day Trophy is on again and there are 8 spots left currently. It is open to any players of 40 handicap and over and will be handicap singles with losers moving into a doubles draw.
Judith Clarke Cup and Australian Amateur Ladies Singles and Doubles – Saturday and Sunday 14th, 15th May
Calling on all lady members, book the weekend of the 14th and 15th May as a tennis weekend. The Judith Clarke Cup, annual ladies Melbourne vs Hobart competition, and the Australian Amateur Ladies Singles and Doubles tournaments are being run all weekend. The Amateur singles and doubles will be graded to accommodate all standards so book the date in your diary and get involved.

New safety glasses have been purchased for use by members. 4 pairs have been placed by each court and are recommended to all players for ocular protection.
