After easing out of lockdown, with all those Zoom fitness sessions with Chappy and John, and not recording any outcomes on RTO, it was time to get serious about real tennis doubles at the ISO Handicap Doubles.
Eight doubles pairs turned up on a quiet Sunday with a mix of skills and fitness levels, all expertly moderated by the handicap, to give many close games throughout the morning.
By early afternoon the finals were decided with Wendy Whitehead and Tim Raw clinching the trophies over Ken Penaluna and Stephen Powell - 6/5. Many thanks to all competitors, and Jonners and John for guiding proceedings.
All going well, this is the first and last time we play the ISO Cup - looking forward to a full and complete tennis calendar for 2021!
