Dear members, please note that the Administration office will be closed from 18 February and will reopen on the 15 March. For anything urgent, please contact the
pros office and they will try to assist you. February statements will not be sent until after 16 March.

To make life easier for the person who will be entering the bar chits, can you please print your full name, not just your initials or surname, as we have
many members with the same surname, this will make their job so much easier and will avoid miss entry to accounts. Thank you.
Julie Baker

The kitchen reopens for lunch on Wednesday 17 February. Evie is looking forward to seeing you there on a Wednesday or Friday for one of her wonderful lunches.

Ladies Australian Open 2013

The Ladies Australian Open 2013 was held over the weekend 18-20 October at The Royal Melbourne Tennis Club, coinciding with the Victorian Open tournament being played on the same weekend. There was a definite carnival atmosphere created as women travelled from interstate to participate in the multiple events on offer.

These events included the Open singles and doubles, as well as many graded handicap singles matches. The results are as follows:

A Grade Singles: Kate Leeming def Amy Hayball 6/1 6/1
A Grade Doubles: Leeming/Hayball def Snell/McCahey 6/3 6/0

Full results will be published shortly…

On the social side, an intimate group of players and supporters were treated to an Italian feast on the Saturday night at La Camera Restaurant in Southbank. While for lunch over the weekend the social committee provided a variety of delicious sandwiches and pasta dishes.

A big thank you must go to all the people who helped organise this successful weekend; Alistair Curley, Frank, Julie Davies, Anabelle Guest, Julie Baker, the RMTC Social Committee and of the course the Pros.

I hope to see everyone early next year to do it all again!
